On-site Program Volunteers

Indus  is appreciative of the support that we receive from our volunteers and is committed to supporting our volunteers by providing meaningful volunteer opportunities. Volunteers contribute to the mission and vision of Indus while improving the lives of people within the community and in return get opportunities to meet new people, learn new skills and show their dedication to the community by donating their valuable time and talent. Indus offers a variety of on-site volunteering opportunities, which are available year round.

Indus recognizes that volunteers are a vital human resource and will commit the appropriate infrastructure to support volunteer involvement by providing meaningful volunteering opportunities and a safe and supportive environment for volunteers.  In exchange, volunteers make a commitment and are accountable to Indus Community Services. Volunteers will act with respect for the agency, all its stakeholders and the community and carry out their volunteer duties responsibly and with integrity.
