One-Dose Summer Fun!

As Phase 1 of reopening Ontario begins this Friday, Toronto has announced their Summer recreation activities such as day camps, outdoor recreation, splash pads including virtual programming for kids and families to safely enjoy this Summer. Overnight camping at campgrounds and campsites at Ontario Parks, Ontario attractions such as zoos, landmarks, historic sites, botanical gardens have also opened with capacity and other restrictions.

All of the programs are open with limited capacity, so hurry in and book in advance! To find what’s available in the GTA, check this out!

The City’s fee assistance program Active Assist gives residents in low-income households and newcomers with refugee status access to recreation and culture programs. Now available for Mississauga and Brampton.

If you’re 12 to 14 years old and live in Mississuga, you can apply for a Freedom Pass to ride MiWay for free, and swim for free in City pools, from July 1 to August 31.
