Community Mental Health Support Services - Housing and Support Peel (HASP)
Effective September 8, 2021, Indus requires proof of vaccination via paper or PDF vaccine receipt or an enhanced digital vaccine receipt that features a QR code (upon implementation by the Province of Ontario) and another piece of photo identification, such as a driver’s licence or health card in order to access in-person services. Clients who are unable to provide proof of vaccination will only be provided phone or virtual services by appointment only.
The overall goal of the program is to:
- Assist clients in achieving their individual support plans & goals
- Support clients and their families in their recovery journey
- Advocate with landlords, hospitals, psychiatrists, and others, on clients’ behalf
- Assist in developing the skills to improve quality of life, resolve day to day conflicts, manage setbacks, and increase independence and housing stability
HASP in partnership with SHIP (Supportive Housing in the Province) delivers housing support services to clients residing in SHIP units. SHIP provides affordable housing in a safe and supportive environment. Our staff provides case management, service coordination, and person-centred support planning to SHIP residents.
